Swiss Water decaf coffee is made using a chemical-free process. Green coffee beans are soaked in water to create a solution filled with coffee flavor compounds. This solution is then used to gently extract the caffeine from a new batch of green coffee beans. The caffeine is removed from the solution using a carbon filter, leaving behind a solution that can be reused to decaffeinate more coffee. This process preserves the coffee's natural flavor profile, making it a popular choice for those who prefer a milder decaf experience.
