Let’s make a cup.

A simple upright method for the Original / Clear. Follow your model’s instructions for fill level and assembly; XL and other models differ.

1. Set up upright

   Fit a paper filter into the cap, attach it securely and stand the chamber on a sturdy mug that fits.

2. Add coffee and water

   Add 16–18 g coffee. Add hot water to the level recommended in your model’s instructions; the manufacturer suggests 85°C as a starting point.

3. Stir and press

   Stir briefly, fit the plunger and press gently. Stop if you meet strong resistance rather than forcing it.

4. Make it your cup

   Taste the concentrate and add hot water or milk to suit you. Let the brewer cool enough to handle before cleaning.
