Cafetière,
made simple.
A full-bodied cup, without the fuss.
A starting recipe
30 g coffee · 500 g water · 4 minutes
Grind: CoarseLet’s make a cup.
Our suggested starting ratio is 60 g coffee per litre of water. Scale it to your cafetière’s capacity; leave room for the lid and plunger.
Prepare
Warm the cafetière, empty it and add your ground coffee.
Add water
Pour freshly boiled water after letting it settle briefly. Wet all the coffee and stir gently.
Let it brew
Set the lid on top with the plunger raised and leave for four minutes.
Press and pour
Press slowly without forcing the plunger. Pour the brewed coffee into cups or a jug rather than leaving it sitting on the grounds.
